For associations

A member benefit built for pharmacy independence.

PV1RX is not asking associations to fund a speculative technology project. The eventual model is to underwrite measured delivery cost once the service is proven and automated enough to provide broadly.

The problem

Collective representation, individual economics

Independent pharmacies have collective representation, but each owner still operates the economics of the business alone. A pharmacy management system records dispensing. A wholesaler portal records purchasing. A payer or PSAO records adjudication and remittance. No single record connects them, and no member has an independent way to check the whole transaction.

The member benefit

Each pharmacy gets an independent economic record

Every member can hold a record that connects purchase, dispense, claim, payment, contract, economics, finding, action, and outcome. The weekly Receipt is free. The Statement is priced transparently and paid directly by the pharmacy, so the relationship stays between PV1RX and the owner.

The evidence benefit

Current, methodology-defined evidence

In aggregate, with minimum cell sizes and no identifiable exposure, an association gains timely evidence of how independent pharmacies are being paid. The methodology is published. The observations are deidentified. The evidence is defensible because no counterparty could shape it.

The independence rule

No association owns the data, the methodology, or the findings

The pharmacy owns the identifiable relationship. No association or sponsor receives the identifiable database, controls the methodology, or determines what a finding says. The point is not that an association owns the data. The point is that no counterparty owns it.

The sequencing

Prove, reduce cost, then offer access

PV1RX proves the model with an initial cohort of paid Statements. Ledger automation reduces the human minutes per Statement. Cost to serve is measured. Only then does PV1RX offer an association a credible member-access program built on a known delivery cost.

Sequencing

  1. Prove with early pharmacies
  2. Reduce cost through Ledger
  3. Offer association-backed access

The ask, when the time comes

Independent pharmacies should not have to pay to find out they are being paid unfairly. An association can underwrite measured delivery cost so members receive access at little or no cost.
